Three Central Banks in 48 Hours. The Textbook Just Broke.
Gold dropped more than $200 in five days and closed the week at 3,995. Silver is down 16% in a month — its lowest in almost a year. Oil has pushed to a four-year high near $116. And here's the part nobody is explaining: US Treasury yields have fallen four weeks in a row, the dollar is down too, and that combination is normally gold's green light. This time gold crashed instead. Either the textbook is wrong, or someone is being forced to sell.
Into that, the Fed, the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan all decide within 48 hours this week. And gold is now one level away from a run back toward 4,100 — but only if one thing happens first. Today's map covers the dollar, two-year yields, EUR/USD, silver and gold, and exactly which level unlocks the bounce.

DXY - Dollar Index
The dollar is in a corrective bounce, sitting just under the 61.8% Fibonacci resistance. On the four-hour it printed a false break above 102.20 and is correcting down, with bearish divergence on the hourly confirming the sellers' hand.
Nikkhil's read: a corrective bounce into resistance around 102.23, a rejection, then continuation lower to 101.23 and the next downside target at 100.73. The invalidation is a weekly close above 102.23–102.25, which would open another leg up. Until then, the lean is down — the breathing room metals need.

US 2-Year Yields
Yields are the other half of the macro story. On the weekly, two-year yields completed a five-leg decline into divergence, bounced, and have now rejected the 78–85% retracement zone — the tough resistance — and turned lower. That rejection is squarely in gold's favour.
The lower timeframes confirm it: a clean sequence of lower highs with downside momentum picking up. The line to watch is 4.9% — while yields hold below it, metals get support; a close above 4.9% would create fresh headwinds. For now, yields are leaning the right way for a gold bounce.

EUR/USD
The euro ended its long-term corrective decline with bullish divergence, but buyers haven't yet broken structure to confirm the turn. A second leg up stalled with bearish divergence and sellers broke the daily structure, so near-term it's a corrective bounce inside a still-unconfirmed setup.
The levels: support held at 1.1120, and the bounce is building while price holds above the 78–85% zone of the latest leg up. The invalidation is a daily close below 1.1140; while that holds, Nikkhil expects a corrective bounce toward 1.1440. A useful cross-check on dollar direction into the central-bank week.

XAGUSD (SILVER)
Silver is the weak link, and its structure is still bearish across the timeframes — no completed bullish divergence yet on the hourly. The support magnet Nikkhil is targeting is 49.31–49.75: he expects price to hit that zone, false-break it, print bullish divergence, and only then rebound.
From 49.31, the corrective bounce projects toward 60–63. The bigger confirmation — a genuine long-term turn — only comes on a close above 66; short of that, this is a play from the support zone up to 60–63, no further. Near term, expect range-bound behaviour between roughly 53.58–54 and 56–58 into the Fed, then one more leg down toward 48–49.75 before the reversal. Not a permanent bottom here — the real one comes lower.

XAUUSD (GOLD)
Gold closed the week at 3,995 after a relentless slide, and the near-term structure is still bearish — lower highs, lower lows, no exhaustion signal yet on the lower timeframes. But the fall has been steep and prolonged, and Nikkhil is clear: this is not where to short.
His base case: gold hits the support zone at 3,893–3,930 (with the deeper edge at 3,893), prints bullish divergence there, and bounces. The overhead resistance magnet is 4,143–4,162. On the way up, the step-ladder of resistance runs 4,021 first, then 4,054, then 4,106 — and he expects price to be pulled back toward that 4,106 area on the bounce. The confirmation that changes everything: a weekly close above 4,162, which opens the next destination at 4,275 and a genuine run higher. Short of that, treat the bounce as a short-term move, not a trend turn.
The sequence to hold in mind: support into 3,893–3,930 first, bounce toward 4,106, and 4,162 as the line that decides whether the run to 4,100-plus is real.

What to Watch This Week
Coming up — a scheduling note: there's no midweek live this week. The Fed announces at 10pm New York time Wednesday, and any view given that evening could be stale within minutes. Keep today's levels in front of you, and the next full breakdown lands next Sunday at 9am UAE — with exactly what the Fed did.
The week reduces to one tension: every textbook relationship is bent right now — yields down, dollar down, gold down, oil at four-year highs — and three central banks are about to decide inside two days. That's a week to respect the plan, not the noise. Gold is one weekly close above 4,162 from a real run higher, but the likely path there runs through a dip into 3,893–3,930 first. Don't short the hole, let the support zone prove itself, and let the central banks show their hand before committing.
